General Proximity offers complete insurance coverage to each employee, including vision and dental, and additional coverage for their dependents up to $500/month. Any excess amount for the dependent coverage will be deducted from the employee’s paychecks.
<aside> 💡 nb: The coverage amount will be split in half, with deductions occurring from each paycheck. Upon registering dependents in PlanSource (our company medical insurance admin system), the "cost" displayed represents the sum that will be deducted from the paycheck for every pay cycle.

One Medical is a membership-based primary care practice. They may have shorter wait times and easier access to medical services than a typical primary care provider.

General Proximity provides a Function Health membership to all employees. This benefit includes comprehensive health monitoring with over 100 lab tests annually, personalized health insights, and consultations with top doctors. The membership, valued at $499 per year, is fully covered by the company.

All employees based in the US.
Function requires their members to have permanent residency in the US with a valid US address and active US phone number to provide the full extent of our services.

GP benefits program includes a membership to Nebula Genomics, which offers 30x whole genome sequencing as well as access to personalized genomic information and analysis, empowering individuals to proactively understand their genetic makeup and health risks.

Please bear the following guidelines in mind:
To qualify for reimbursement, the employee must actively use their gym at least 5 times each month. This resets every first day of the month.
This is regardless of the gym membership fee. If you go to the gym at least 10 times a month, you will get $100, even if you’re only paying $50 for your membership. 😎
For the first month, the employee must submit a receipt as proof of eligibility for fitness reimbursement to [email protected]. This ensures that the policy is used for genuine fitness activities.
The guidelines mentioned above operate on an honor system. After the first month, we will reach out to the team through our #ops Slack channel to confirm whether they are using your gym membership and how many times they’ve used it.
